GMW3232 Automotive Interior Combustion TesterStandard test for horizontal burning characteristics of materials used in specific types of interior structures of motor vehicles as mentioned in Appendix 6 of ECE R118, and simulation combustion performance safety tests according to standards such as GB 8410-2006, TL1010, GM6090M, DIN75200, GM9070P, FMVSS 302, JIS D 1201, JASO M403, ISO 3795, ASTM D5132, QB/T 2729-2005, etc. The equipment can meet standards including GB8410, TL1010, GN6090M, DIN7520, MVSS302, JIS D 1201, JASO M403, ISO 3795, ASTM D5132, QB/T2729-2005, etc.

Test Principle
The principle of the horizontal burning test is to clamp the sample horizontally on a U-shaped bracket, ignite the free end of the sample with a flame of specified height in the combustion chamber for 15 seconds, and then determine whether the flame on the sample extinguishes, or when it extinguishes, as well as the distance the sample burns and the time taken to burn that distance. The combustion chamber dimensions are 385mm long × 204mm wide × 380mm high, and the fume hood dimensions are 1120mm long × 520mm wide × 1250mm high (other sizes can be customized).

KS-57 Series Automotive Interior Horizontal Burning Tester is the preferred combustion chamber for testing the horizontal burning rate and flame retardancy of automotive interior materials according to U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302 (FVMSS 302) and other standards based on it (GB8410-2006, GB 8410-2006, TL1010, GM6090M, DIN75200, GM9070P, JIS D 1201, JASO M403, ISO 3795, ASTM D5132, QB/T 2729-2005). Its sturdy stainless steel structure, large glass observation window, door-type burner, and movable top cover for easy sample access greatly enhance user convenience. The unique combined sample holder simplifies sample loading.

8. Gas burner: Inner diameter of 9.5mm, with the center of the burner nozzle 19mm below the center of the sample's free end, and capable of automatic ignition

9. Fuel gas: Uses liquefied petroleum gas, or other combustible gases with a calorific value of 35MJ/m³ to 38 MJ/m³ (such as natural gas, city gas)

10. Sample installation: The sample is installed 178mm above the bottom plate of the combustion chamber
